LEPF 2015 Back to news archive
This weekend Gelsenkirchen (Germany) was the host town for LEPF 2015! Around 100 LEO members from all over Europe came together to have a preview of LEF 2015 in August this year.
Friday night started with a tour inside and outside the hotel. Some team activities later, the atmosphere was already amazing and LEPF was well underway. After a great night at the ‘Mining Party’, everyone was looking forward to Saturday. We had the possibility to choose from 3 workshops:
- Children’s workshop: learn to grime and to make animals from balloons
- Dancing lesson
- percussion
The DL’s/ILO’s had their own meeting so they were fully briefed on LEF2015 and upcoming events!
In the afternoon, Essen was the place to be: Winter Wonderland brought us ice-skating, glühwein, curling and ice-tubing! Everybody was really enjoying themselves. Back at the hotel, everybody showed up in their carnival costumes for the theme of tonight’s party: Karnaval!
Sunday morning came too soon for most, as everybody had to say goodbye after these amazing days. Luckily, most will see each other again at LEF2015!
